Abstract
Karcinom vrata maternice javlja se u žena između sedamnaeste i devedesete godine, no ipak je najčešći u žena mlađe životne dobi, za razliku od drugih ginekoloških malignoma. Redovitim ginekološkim kontrolama i pravilnim zdravstvenim odgojem nastanak ovog oblika karcinoma moguće je uspješno prevenirati, a u slučaju pojave bolesti i uspješno liječiti. Liječenje uključuje kirurški zahvat, kemoterapiju i radioterapiju, a kod ranog stadija bolesti stupanj izlječenja je gotovo 100%. Sam izbor liječenja ovisi o stadiju bolesti, općem stanju pacijentice i o stavu ustanove u kojoj se liječenje provodi. U razdoblju od 1.6.2016. do 20.1.2017. na Klinici za radioterapiju i onkologiju Kliničko – bolničkog centra Rijeka od karcinoma cerviksa liječilo se petnaest pacijentica, starosti od 47 do 80 godina. Trinaest pacijentica primalo je kombinaciju kemoterapije cisplatinom i radikalne 3D radioterapije u dnevnim frakcijama od 180 i 200 impulsa – 11 njih je primalo 180 cGy, a dvije 200 cGy. Dvije su primale palijativnu radioterapiju – jedna u dnevnim frakcijama od 180 cGy, a druga od 300 cGy.
Abstract (english)
Cervical cancer occurs in women between 17 and 90 years of age, but it is still the most common in women of younger age unlike other gynecological malignancies. Regular gynecological examinations and appropriate health education can prevent the appearance of this form of cancer, and in the case of illness it can be treated succesfully. Treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and in the early stages of the disease cure rates are almost 100%. The choice of treatment depends on the stage of the disease, the general state of the patient and on the attitude of the institution where the treatment is carried out. In the period from the 1st of June 2016 to the 20th of January 2017 in the Clinic for Radiotherapy and Oncology in the Clinical – Hospital Center Rijeka 15 patiens, aged between 47 and 80, were treated from cervical cancer. 13 patients received a combination of chemotherapy based on cisplatin and radical 3D radiotherapy in the daily fractions of 180 and 200 pulses – 11 were receiving 180 cGy and 2 were receiving 200 cGy. The remaining two received palliative radiotherapy – one in daily fractions of 180 cGy and the other in the daily fractions of 300 cGy.
