The main areas of work of clinical forensic medicine include forensic, i.e. clinical examinations of victims of sexual or physical violence, criminal assault, abuse or neglect, and domestic violence. Clinical forensic medicine encompasses a wide range of activities typically performed by physicians of various specializations, and includes specialists in forensic medicine, psychiatry, emergency medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and others. In addition to performing a physical examination and gynecological examination, it is necessary to properly collect all existing evidence. In order for evidence to be valid in court proceedings, it is necessary to collect it in a timely manner in accordance with the given guidelines. A clinical forensic clinic, where such procedures are performed and which is available 24 hours a day, should be an integral part of every health care system.
