Breast reconstruction is an important part of the treatment of patients with breast cancer, but it can also be a treatment of choice for certain congenital and acquired anomalies. Breast reconstruction seeks to create a new breast that will match the appearance and function of the natural one and thus contribute to the aesthetics as well as the better psychological state of the patient. The time and method of reconstruction is determined by the surgeon who performs a detailed examination of the patients, considering their health condition, expectations and possible complications.
