Endodontic treatments of primary teeth are very important and present a big part of treatment in pediatric dentistry. The aim of endodontic therapy is to maintain primary teeth in function to the natural exfoliation. In the selection of therapeutic methods have a good assessment of the condition of the pulp and accurate diagnosis of where the pathologic process works. Available we have several therapeutic methods and materials. From the therapeutic methods we use vital, devitalization and mortal methods and in view of the vitality of the pulp and IPP, DPP, pulpotomy and pulpektomy in relation to the amount of pulp that remains in the area of endodontic teeth. Materials we use for vital therapeutic methods as calcium hydroxide, formokrezol, glutaraldehyde, ferrous sulfate, and MTA. For devitalization and mortal methods are used paste based on paraformaldehyde (Toxavit, Depulpin, Caustinerf fort, Caustinerf pedodntique) for devitalizatoin and mummification of the remaining radicular pulp.
