Chronic pelvic pain is the most common disease and it can be defined as a continuous, intermittent pain, which affects the lower abdomen and pelvic area. This state leads to frustration in women, together with whole of her family. Signs and symptoms vary from patient to patient. Since the innervation of the pelvic is complex itself, so it is very difficult to set the correct diagnosis and adequate treatment. The etiology of chronic pelvic pain is multifactorial and pathophysiology is complex and insufficiently researched. The treatment begins by taking the empirical therapy. If the cause is accurately determined the we can use targeted therapy. If still symptoms persist and the quality of the life does not improve and the woman is unable to perform daily activities we can recommend her invasive technique called hysterectomy.
