Abstract
U ovom radu ispitivano je dezinfekcijsko djelovanje srebra, nanesenog na nosač, na određene vrste baktrerija indikatora fekalnog zagađenja (ukupne koliformne bakterije, E. coli, bakterija iz roda Enterococcus, C. perfringens, P. aeruginosa, te bakterije koje rastu pri tempreaturama od 22 °C i 37°C). Ispitivanje se provodilo u laboratorijskim uvjetima i dvije cisterne na području Istre. Usporedbom rezultata željelo se utvrditi u kojem slučaju je dezinfekcijsko djelovanje srebra bolje, odnosno, kolika je učinkovitost dezinfekcijskog djelovanja srebra u realnim uvjetima, u odnosu na kontrolirane (laboratorijske) uvjete. U oba slučaja, dezinfekcijsko djelovanje srebra pokazalo se kao učinkovita metoda dezinfekcije vode na većinu ispitivanih mikroorganizama, ali u realnim uvjetima primjećene su smetnje koje su utjecale na konačan rezultat učinkovitosti dezinfekcijskog djelovanja srebra. Osim mikrobioloških parametara, mjerila se i koncentracija srebra u vodi nakon postavljanja nosača, a rezultati tog ispitivanja pokazali su kako je koncetracija srebra u vodi bila ispod maksimalno dopustive kocentracije propisane za vodu za piće, prema važećim zakonskim propisima.
Abstract (english)
In this study the disinfection property of silver – coated vessel were tested on indicator bacteria of fecal pollution (total coliform bacteria, E. coli, bacteria from the genus Enterococcus, C. perfringens, P. aeruginosa, and total heterotrophic bacteria that are cultivated at temperatures of 22 °C and 37 °C). The study was coducted in laboratory conditions and two cisterns in Istria. Comparing the results the goal was to determine if the disinfection property of silver was more efficient in real conditions on two cisterns or in controlled (laboratory) conditions. In both cases, the disinfection property of silver has shown to be an effective method of disinfection of water on most tested bacteria, but the test coducted in real conditions showed interferences that affected the final results. Beside of microbiological tests, the concetracion of silver in cistern water after installing the silver – coated vessel was also measured, and it showed that concetracion of silver in that water was well below the maximum allowable concetrations of silver in drinking water, issued by current regulations.
