Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad uvodno opisuje parodontalne strukture, njihovu građu i funkciju, a potom se bavi patologijom parodontalih tkiva. Opisuje višeuzročnu etiologiju, patogenezu i način liječenja u svrhu shvaćanja osnovnih ideja fotodinamske terapije. Sama fotodinamska terapija razvila se iz svjetlosnih terapija, a djeluje uz pomoć fotoaktivatora i odgovarajućeg izvora svjetlosti. Isti djeluju lokalno i uzrokuju uništenje bakterijske stanice dobivenim kisikovim radikalima. Reakcije pokazuje dobre rezultate u tumorskom tkivu kao i upalnom tkivu te se zbog toga primjenjuje u periodontalnim stanjima.
Abstract (english)
This thesis preliminary descibes periodontal structures, their morfology and function and afterwards deals with periodontal patology. Multicausal etiology, patogenesis and therapy protocol are described as introduction to photodynamic therapy understanding. Photodynamic therapy developed from light therapies. Photosenziter and light sourse are necessary to photodynamic reaction. The reaction destroys bacterial cells by oxygen radicals and it is local. It shows good results in tumor tissue as well as in inflamatoy tissue and it is applied in periodontal deseases.
