Abstract
U ovom radu provedeno je istraživanje o razini tjelesne aktivnosti među studentima Sveučilišta u Rijeci. Cilj istraživanja bio je odrediti razinu tjelesne aktivnosti kod mladića i djevojaka na dnevnoj i tjednoj bazi u provedbi određenih tjelesnih aktivnosti. Provedeno je anketno istraživanje kod 350 studenata 2018.-2019. akademske godine. Podatci su obrađeni u statističkom programu SPSS, 20. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su da postoje statističke razlike u općim karakteristikama među studentima. Naime, mladići su imali veću veću tjelesnu težinu, tjelesnu visinu i veći ITM od djevojaka. Statistički je značajno bilo više normalno uhranjenih djevojaka u usporedbi s mladićima. Što se tiče navike pušenja, odnosno količine popušenih cigareta mladići i djevojke nisu se značajno statistički razlikovali. S druge strane postoji statistička razlika u razini tjelesne aktivnosti među mladićima i djevojkama. Rezultati su pokazali da su mladići tjelesno aktivniji od djevojaka. Istraživanjem je dokazano da studenti zadovoljavaju dnevne i tjedne potrebe za tjelesnom aktivnošću prema WHO preporukama.
Abstract (english)
A study on the level of physical activity was conducted among students of the University of Rijeka. The aim of the research was to determine the level of physical activity among male and female on daily and weekly basis in the implementation of certain physical activities. Research was conducted at 350 students from 2018. to 2019. academic year. The data were processed in the SPSS 20, statistical program. The obtained results showed that there are statistical differences in the general characteristics of students. Male had a higher body weight, body height and higher BMI than female. Statistically, there were significantly more female normally offered than male. Regarding smoking habits, or the amount of cigarette smoking, male and female did not differ statistically significantly. On the other hand there is a statistical difference in the level of physical activity among male and female. The results show that male spend significantly more time than female. Research has shown that students meet daily and weekly needs for physical activity according to WHO recommendations.
