In wide range of nonmetallic dental substitution choices, in the last few years, zirconium oxide is particularly highlighted as the material of choice that primarily meets its functional requirements with its natural color and optical properties and with new methods of processing, this material is surprising in aesthetic outcomes as well as in mechanical endurance. The zirconium oxide ceramics is divided into 3Y-TZP ceramics (great mechanical properties but not so good esthetic outcomes), Mg-TZP ceramics (excellent aesthetic characteristics but increased porosity) and ZTA ceramics (shows the highest amount of transformational fastening). The material is also divided by generations into three generations.
