Abstract
Ciljevi istraživanja Ciljevi istraživanja su: istražiti povezanost između dobi, spola, stupnja stručne spreme, parodontološkog i dentalnog statusa te stupnja pacijentova zadovoljstva izgledom, bojom i položajem zuba te izgledom zubnog mesa, ispitati koji su od svih izmjerenih parametara značajni prediktori pacijentova zadovoljstva izgledom zuba. Ispitanici i metode Uzorak: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 42 ispitanika oba spola koji su zbog dentalnih zahvata dolazili u Kliniku za dentalnu medicinu Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka. Istraživanje se sastojalo od Estetskog upitnika. Rezultati U istraživanju je bilo najviše ispitanika srednje stručne spreme, s intaktinim zubima ili kompozitnim ispunima, najčešća boja zuba je bila 2A, a oblik zuba kvadratasti. Ispitanici su do sada bili najčešće podvrgavani skidanju kamenca i parodontnoj terapiji. Dokazano je da spol, dob i stupanj obrazovanja utječu na procjenu osobnog zadovoljstva. Zaključak Stariji ljudi su zadovoljniji izgledom zuba nego mlađi, žene su također zadovoljnije od muškaraca. Ispitanici s višim stupnjem obrazovanja su manje zadovoljni. Između boje, oblika zuba i zadovoljstva nije pronađena nije pronađena statistički značajna korelacija.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between age, gender, education level, periodontal and dental status, and degree of patient satisfaction with appearance, color and position of the teeth and gingival tissue, to examine which of the measured parameters were significant predictors of patient satisfaction regarding the tooth appearance. Patients and Methods The sample consisted of 42 participants of both genders who were scheduled for dental treatment at the Clinic of Dental Medicine, Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka. The study consisted of completion of Aesthetic Questionnaire. Results In this study, most of the participants finished high school, they have healthy teeth or composite restoration. The most common tooth colour was 2A with square shape. Until now, the participants most frequently have had descaling and periodontal therapy. It is prooved that gender, age and education influence on assessment of personal satisfaction. Conclusion Older people are more satisfied with the teeth than younger. Women are also more satisfied than men. Participants with higher education are less satisfied. Between color, shape of teeth and satisfaction wasn't found any statistically significant correlation.
