Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad uvodno daje pregled povijesnog razvitka implantata, a potom opisuje vrste implantata, s obzirom na oblik i površinu, te prikazuje proces oseointegracije. Opisuje kirurške tehnike ugradnje implantata, jednofaznu i dvofaznu tehniku, te prednosti i nedostatke istih. Uz kirurške tehnike prikazani su rezultati postavljanja implantata ovisno o vremenu proteklom nakon ekstrakcije zuba.
Abstract (english)
Preliminary, this thesis provides an overview of the historical development of dental implants, then it describes the types of implants, due to the shape and size of implants, and also the process of osseointegration. Additionally, thesis describes the surgical implantation technique, one-stage and two-stage technique, and the advantages and disadvantages of those. Beside the surgical technique, results of placing implants depending on time after the tooth extraction are presented.
