Abstract
Prerani gubitak vitaliteta zuba zaustavlja rast i razvoj korijena. Uobičajene se tehnike endodontskog liječenja stoga ne mogu primijeniti za liječenje mladih trajnih zuba. Terapijske metode i materijali koji se upotrebljavaju moraju imati za cilj poticanje zatvaranja korijena. Dijagnostika je ključna za uspjeh terapije. O njoj ovisi koje ćemo metode liječenja i materijale koristiti. U današnje vrijeme, razvojem tehnologije i znanosti, opcije su mnoge. Ukoliko je pulpa zuba sa nezavršenim rastom i razvojem korijena vitalna, zub je moguće iječiti a nastavak rasta i razvoja korijena stimulirati nekom od sljedećih metoda: indirektno prekrivanje pulpe, direktno prekrivanje pulpe, pulpotomija i apeksogeneza. Ako je zub pak avitalan, rast korijena se stimulira postupcima apeksifikacije i revaskularizacije pulpe. Materijali koji se najčešće koriste u navedenim postupcima su kalcijev hidroksid i MTA.
Abstract (english)
Early loss of tooth vitality stops further growth and development of the root. Convencional endodontics techniques can't be used for treatment of immature permanent teeth. Therapeutic procedures and materials must aim to stimulate rooth growth and development. Diagnosis is the key to therapy success. Depending on it, we should decide what methods and materials to use for a treatment. Nowadays, due to development of science and tehnology, there are many options. If the pulp of the tooh with unfinished root growth and development is vital, therapy choice can be: indirect pulp capping, direct pulp capping, pulpothomy or apexogenesis. If the pulp isn't vital, therapeutic method would be either apexification or pulp revascularization.
