Abstract
Periimplantatne bolesti su upalni procesi koji zahvaćaju meko i tvrdo tkivo oko osteointegriranog implantata u funkciji. Mogu se razviti nakon nekoliko godina. Progresijom bolesti može doći do gubitka kosti. Mikroorganizmi, prvenstveno Gram negativne anaerobne bakterije i biomehanički stres imaju ključnu ulogu u ovoj bolesti. U dijagnostici su važne redovite kontrole, koje moraju sadržavati procjene krvarenja pri sondiranju, gnojenja, dubine sondiranja, pomičnost i rendgenski gubitak kosti. Lang i sur. (2004) su predložili sistematiziran pristup prevencije i terapije periimplantatnih bolesti nazvan kumulativna interceptivna potporna terapija. Ovaj protokol se pokazao uspješnim u smanjenju kliničkih i mikrobioloških parametara.
Abstract (english)
Periimplant diseases are inflammatory conditions that affect the soft and hard supporting tissues around loadbearing osseointegrated implant. It may develop after a few years. Progression of the disease can result in the loss of bone. Microorganisms, especially Gram negative anaerobic bacteria and biomechanical stress play a key role in this disease. Diagnosis is based on regular recall, which must include the assessment of bleeding on probing, suppuration, probing depth, mobility and radiographic bone loss. Lang et al. (2004) have recommended a systematic approach in the prevention and treatment of periimplant disease called Cumulative Interceptive Supportive Therapy. This protocol has proved to be successful in reducing clinical and microbiological parameters.
