Abstract
Keramičke ljuske predstavljaju fiksni protetski nadomjestak koji se najčešće koristi za ispravljanje estetskih nedostataka u prednjem dijelu zubnog luka. Preparacija zuba za izradu keramičkih ljuski mora biti minimalna i ograničena na zubnu caklinu. Ukoliko se to ne može postići, odnosno ako je preostalo manje od 50 % cakline, potrebno je odabrati jedan od alternativnih oblika terapije, kao što su potpune keramičke krunice ili kompozitne ljuske. Nakon dovršetka preparacije i uzimanja otiska, ljuske se izrađuju u laboratoriju jednom od tehnika izrade potpunih keramičkih nadomjestaka. Zatim se, nakon adekvatne obrade površine zuba i ljuske, cementiraju primjenom kompozitnih cemenata.
Abstract (english)
Porcelain laminate veneers are prosthetic restoration, which is commonly used to correct cosmetic defects in the anterior part of the dental arch. Tooth preparation for the manufacture of ceramic veneers should be minimal and limited to the tooth enamel. If this can not be achieved, or if there is less than 50% of the enamel left, it is necessary to choose one of the alternative forms of therapy, such as all ceramic crowns or composite veneers. After completing preparation and impressions, veneers are produced in the laboratory with one of techniques of full ceramic restorations. Then, after adequate surface treatment of teeth and veneers, they are cemented using composite cements.
