Abstract
U diplomskom radu se raspravlja o problematici odnosa parodonta i protetskih nadomjestaka s naglaskom na biološkim i tehnološkim čimbenicima koji utječu na njihov međuodnos. Opisuju se pozitivni, a pogotovo negativni učinci protetskih nadomjestaka na zdravlje parodonta, kao i preduvjeti za održavanje zdravlja parodonta koji neophodno trebaju biti ispunjeni prije početka protetske rehabilitacije. Inicijalna parodontološka terapija i dobra oralna higijena su uvjet dugotrajno stabilne protetske rehabilitacije, a kod postupka terapije jednu od najvažnijih uloga imaju nivo i oblik marginalne preparacije, njezina precizna reprodukcija u zubotehničkom laboratoriju, precizna izrada nadomjestaka te kvalitetno cementiranje rada.
Abstract (english)
The thesis discusses the relation between periodontal tissue and dental prothetics with an emphasis on biological and technological factors which effect their relationship. It describes the positive and especially negative effects of prosthetic substitutes on periodontal health and the requirements for maintenance of periodontal health that need to be fulfilled before prosthetic rehabilitation. Initial periodontal therapy and good oral hygiene are required for long-term stable prosthetic rehabilitation. The level and shape of marginal preparations have the most important roles during therapy, as do their precise reproduction and fabrication of dental restorations in the dental lab and finally the cementation process.
