Abstract
Samoubojstvo ili suicidium podrazumijeva oduzimanje vlastitog života, svijesno i namjerno. Današnje je mišljenje da postoje osobe koje imaju suicidogenu dispoziciju, ali potreban je i razlog koji će osobu dovesti do želje za samodestrukcijom, tj. suicidogeni motiv. Sociodemografski gledano povećani rizik imaju starije dobne skupine. Češće je i u urbanim sredinama i kod nižeg socioekonomskog statusa. Biopsihosocijalni faktori koji doprinose su kronične bolest, prethodni pokušaji samoubojstva i psihički poremećaji. Prema podacima Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije iz 2000. godine 815 000 ljudi godišnje umire zbog samoubojstva. Veliki problem stvara kontinuirani rast stope suicida. Podaci iz 1999. godine za Republiku Hrvatsku su iznad svjetskog prosjeka, te spada u zemlje s visokim rizikom suicida. Prosječno je na razini Republike Hrvatske bilo 24,8 samoubojstava na 100 000 stanovnika. Uzrok takvog stanja je dvojak – ratna zbivanja u zemlji i obilježja Hrvatske kao tranzicijske zemlje. Na riječkom području je prosjek bio 17,8/100 000. Suici nožem je rijetka metoda počinjenja suicida. Prema istraživanju provedenom u gradu Zagrebu samoubojstva nožem su na predzadnjem mjestu prema mehnizmu počinjena suicida. Istraživanje u riječkoj regiji je dovelo do sličnih rezultata (sedmo mjesto od 9 proučavanih metoda). Mehanizam samoozljeđivanja je nanošenje ubodne ili rezne rane. Za razlikovanje ubojstva i samoubojstva potrebno je odrediti podrijetlo rane, izgled rane i lokalizaciju. Sumnju na samoubojstvo pobuđuje pronalazak noža na mjestu događaja, probne rane, grupiranje ozljeda, pliće rane, goli dio tijela gdje se nanosi ozljeda, tiho i mirno mjesto, lokalizaci. Važno je i razlikovati vitalne od postmortalnih ozljeda. Rezultati istraživanja se podudaraju sa globalnom i Hrvatskom statistikom po dobi i spolu no dolazi do odstupanja u kretanju stope suicida.
Abstract (english)
Suicide or suicidium means taking your own life, consciously and intentionally. Today's opinion is that there are people who have a disposition suicide attempt. The socio-demographic point of view shows increased risk primarily in the older age groups. Suicide is more common in urban areas and in people with lower socioeconomic status. Biopsychosocial factors that contribute to are chronic disease, previous suicide attempts and mental disorders. According to the World Health Organization in 2000, 815 000 people a year die from suicide. The big problem creates a continuous growth rate of suicide. Data from 1999 for the Republic of Croatia are above the world average and Croatia is one of the countries with a high risk of suicide. The cause of such a situation is twofold - the war in the country and characteristics of Croatia as transition country. On average, at the level of the Croatia was 24.8 suicides per 100 000 population. In the area of Rijeka average was 17.8/100 000. Suicide with a knife is in the penultimate place according to the mechanism of suicide by research in Zagreb. Research in the region of Rijeka has led to similar results (seventh place from 9 studied method). The mechanism of self-harm is inflicting stab or cutting wounds. To distinguish murder and suicide is necessary to determine the origin of the wound, appearance of the wound and localization. Doubt about suicide raises when we find the knife at the scene, grouping injuries, shallow wounds, naked body where injury is applied, quiet and peaceful place. It is also important to distinguish vital injuries from post-mortem injuries. Results of research coincide with the global and Croatian statistics by age and gender, however, there is a deviation in the movement of suicide rates.
