Abstract
Najčešće oralne mukozne bolesti u djece su rekurentne aftozne ulceracije, upalne bolesti, upalne bolesti jezika i ozljede oralne sluznice. Mnoge od tih bolesti daju slične kliničke karakteristike te stoga kliničar mora biti upoznat s njihovim karakteristikama, simptomima i laboratorijskim pretragama koje mogu pomoći u dijagnostici. Ispravno liječenje oralnih bolesti bitno je kako bi se ublažili simptomi i skratilo trajanje bolesti. Od posebne je važnosti rano otkrivanje sustavnih bolesti, poremećaja i/ili nutricijskih deficita u podlozi oralnih mukoznih lezija.
Abstract (english)
The most common oral mucosal diseases are recurrent aphtous ulcerations, infective diseases, tongue diseases and traumatic lesions. Many of these diseases can give similar clinical characteristics so the clinican has to be familiar with their characteristics, symptoms and laboratory tests that may help with the diagnosis. Appropriate treatment of oral diseases is relevant to ease the symptoms and to shorten the duration of the disease. Early recognition of underlying sistemic disease, disorders and/or nutritional deficit is of particular importance.
